Pat Nevin and Damien Duff Praises Moses and Alonso Wing Role At Chelsea FC

Victor Moses has been impressive for the Chelsea side after he has been converted to the right/right back role at Chelsea Fc.

Pat Nevin and Damien Duff were both wingers at Stamford Bridge, however, they carried similar traits to Antonio Conte’s current workhorses.

Much is demanded of Moses and Alonso at wing-back in attack and defensively, but Chelsea have flourished with them in the system so far.
The Spaniard, 25, was bought in the summer to help bolster Conte’s defence but has filled in well down the left flank.
Meanwhile, Moses’ impressive performances in a Chelsea shirt could earn him a new deal, while he has also been nominated for the November Premier League player of the month.
And from their time in west London, Duff and Nevin know the requirements of a wing-back can hold players back in their role, showing how well Moses and Alonso have coped.
“We (Nevin and Duff) were both workaholics, willing and able to do all the defensive running asked of us without a moments complaint,” Nevin told the club’s official website
“Yes of course you would rather hang about up the field waiting to create with all your energy still intact but some of us were also perfectly happy to sometimes sacrifice that for the good of the team.
