It was reported sometimes last week that attorneys f the Khloemoney Inc., Kimsaprincess Inc and 2Die4Kourt filed papers for formally deny Blac Chyna of her registration to try and trademark her possible future name, the Kardashian.
According to reports gathered by E! News, the Kardashian sisters’ name are all trademarked, the attorney was of the belief that the companies will suffer damage to their reputation if Chyna request is not denied with the attorney making the statement that “he doubts if the Kardashian family are aware of Blac Chyna’s move.
It is said that However, Blac Chyna’s attorney replied E! News saying "Since we are in the midst of litigating this matter, I cannot comment directly at this time. However, I will continue to aggressively represent Angela and work diligently with her to protect and grow her intellectual property."
The trio sisters' companies' filing clearly states that they "own and control the rights in the 'Kardashian' brand and related trademarks and services marks." They say they have "spent, and continue to invest, a substantial amount of time, resources and money in protecting, advertising and promoting the 'Kardashian' marks" and that "the public has come to associate goods and services bearing the 'Kardashian' marks" with them.
Khloe, kourtney and kim’s companies had since subsequently said that Blac Chyna is deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity of the Kardashian trademark name.
Blac Chyna has however not yet responded to their fillings as she has until the 10th of January, 2012 until the case is taking in for trails
