Gionee F5 With 5.3-inch HD Display, 3GB Of RAM And 4,000mAh Battery Leaked Online

A new Gionee smartphone has just received TENAA certification. The Gionee smartphone, dubbed as the F5, is believed to be a budget device. This makes F5 the third Gionee smartphone to be spotted on TENAA in a span of three weeks.

Currently, a Gionee M2017 smartphone with a massive 7,000mAh battery has been doing rounds online, along with another Gionee smartphone, which was spotted on TENAA recently. Looks like Gionee has a string of smartphones waiting to be launched. The TENAA listing of the Gionee F5 reveals its images and specifications. However, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the smartphone.

The images of the Gionee F5 as revealed by TENAA, show the front panel, back panel and the side of the smartphone. By the looks of it, the Gionee F5 features a unibody metal design and sports a rose gold color with a white colored panel on the front. The other color options available for the smartphone are said to be white and gold. The front panel has the selfie camera lens located above the display with the home and menu buttons located below. The volume rocker and the power button sit on the right side of the smartphone. The rear camera lens is placed at the top centre of the smartphone with the Gionee logo located below it, which could double as a fingerprint scanner. The speaker grille is located down below. The back panel of the smartphone somehow looks akin to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. But considering how one cannot tell Chinese smartphones apart, it doesn’t really come as a surprise.

Gionee F5 specifications

The TENAA listing as expected reveals some key specifications about the smartphone. To begin with, the Gionee F5 is expected to feature a 5.3-inch HD IPS display. Under the hood an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz is expected to run. The chipset has not been identified as yet. According to the listing, the Gionee F5 is said to come with 3GB of RAM and onboard storage of 64GB, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

In the photography department, the Gionee F5 is expected to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Up front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, the Gionee F5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with Amigo UI. The connectivity options that the Gionee F5 could come with are dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. For power, the smartphone could opt for a 4,000mAh battery. 

Up until now, there has been no other information on this Gionee smartphone. Among the Gionee smartphones recently spotted on TENAA, the Gionee M2017 has been creating a lot of buzz for its rumored top-of-the-line features and specifications. According to the leaks and rumors, the Gionee M2017 will feature a dual-curved display and could be powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery. The smartphone could feature a 5.7-inch AMOLED display. It could be powered by a 1.95GHz octa-core processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It will likely sport a pair of 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone’s massive 7,000mAh battery, is said to give up to 23 days battery life.
