You know your parents will never stop asking, “do they have two heads?” when referring to your well-to-do age mates.
Now, with Nigeria’s youngest referee, 24-year-old Quadri Ololade Adebimpe, it might be time for you to hide from your parents again – especially if all you do is loudly officiate matches from the sofa in your house.

Adebimpe is a member of the Lagos Referees Association. He’s sanctioned by world football body, FIFA, and officiates continental matches. In fact, Complete Sports Nigeria reports that CAF has appointed him to be one of two Nigerian referees set to officiate the First Round, Second Leg game between AS FAN of Niger Republic and AS de Tanda of Cote d’Ivoire in Niamey come February 18.

In December, 2015, the young referee received his new FIFA badge in an event that had Nigeria’s Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, in attendance. According to FIFA, he went international as a referee in 2016.
