Let me start this article with the Latin maxim caveat emptor, meaning buyers beware. The relationships of today have got me thinking and pondering that I cannot seem to get any other word than to use the maxim. There are two major aspects I want to touch in this article that anybody above 18 should stop over and ponder upon not because is not suitable for anybody under the ages of 18 but the society as a whole would agree with me that 18 is just like the regular break-even point.

(1) Pretence

Wow. So simple a word, the major issues revolving around failed relationships today and most especially marriage crashing down is this simple concept called pretense. Let me get straight to you now, and I mean now! There are some things you have both observed about each other, that you cannot put up with eventually if you get married. Why don't you take a chill pill and address that first before taking the next step?\

I will make an illustration very quickly, a guy and a lady from the western part of the country somewhere in Ibadan have been in a relationship for a while, so they advanced to the next stage of planning to get married, but there is one thing very familiar with the guy, he wakes up to eat in the middle of the night that's after dinner, the lady saw this herself but never complained about it for once all in the name of I love him like that.

Eventually, they got married, and after some months of marriage the lady started getting tired of waking up in the middle of the night to make food, this issue began to lead to so many arguments because the wife can no longer bear it and the guy cannot stop eating either. It took a turn on the lady one faithful day that she got the beating of her life that almost led to her death. They both are filing for divorce. Why don't you just save yourself and your family the stress and the shame of an everyday noise?

What you won't take, please learn to start standing against it from now before you get it all tied up and messy. Don't you just like peace and rest of mind. Oh, you want to keep on enduring till after u say "yes I do".please take a chill pill and have a second thought. Don't settle for less, if it's not yours please stop forcing it. Let me keep mute about pretence for now because it's almost getting late.

(2) Love Vs Lust.

These two words are often misleading and once it's not ascertained hmmmm my dear readers it could be a disaster. There are so many kinds of lust, but I will limit myself to just 2, which are i) material lust and ii) sexual lust.

Material lust can be found amongst female especially, it happens in guys too, but it's on the higher percentage amongst ladies. They want a tall, young, sexy, handsome, caring and God fearing man forgetting he his not going to be a robot sort of. In fact, some ladies would go ahead to specify the kind of house he lives in and the kind of car he drives around. Jeez,

why don't you just hold it there? Once some ladies have gotten 1 or 2 of this attributes, they Jump inside of lust of love and begin to swim towards an unrealistic future. May God help you all. Let me burst your bubble it won't work #kolewerk#. Trust me if bigger money or expansion comes this kind of man would neglect you and follow someone who fits into his social class. Go and ask questions from viewers of #BBN# I am not mentioning names here, but trust me you can either build nothing or nothing.

Sexual lust
This is common amongst guys. Yes I mean guys, you want to go for that #NickiMinajs# shape wow, excellent. Fantastic curves and subtle bends like Lugbe to Maitama road. Thumbs up, but can I ask you once those shapes and all those curves move out of place, is the love still there? Oh, you said no, and now you remember its beauty for ashes.

Why don't you just take your eyes off and face reality. Sexual satisfaction is only a pre-requisite of the whole make up. Don't you see for yourself? The lady that was acting Jackie Chan in your room some couple of months ago bro please where is she now? I think it's time we all take the bull by the horn and let sleeping dogs lie. Must the fault always be pushed to Lucifer and his agents? #commonsense.

Well, my submission is if you are in a relationship now and it's full of pretence please just try to fix the pretence. If it doesn't work, please let it slip off rather than regret saying yes I do and secondly discover if it's lust or love. A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. Please hear this it is marriage not manage.

Before I drop my pen, please note it at the back of your mind that marriage is to be enjoyed and not total endurance, though there is time you have to endure some things, that is a topic for another day anyways.
