The muse
to pen this down really arose because I found myself laughing and crying at the
same time. You wouldn't believe how very true this could, I never did too until
I found myself in this sporadic state. What then could have caused this?? It’s
the dramatic politicking we have chosen to play.
Our
drama has elements of Comedy and Tragedy. Comedy, though not the supposed
comedy as defined by Literature but Comic Relief, Literature taught us. If you
want to see sarcasm of the apex degree, relax and follow Nigerian’s political
scenes as they unfold. I can’t help but laugh out so loud seeing Melaye, A
senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria putting on graduation gown to the
senate plenary. Please and please, was that to certify he truly graduated?? Was
it console himself that he hope really graduated?? I even never knew our
senator could fit in to Yoruba movies till He sang and dance to demean himself,
his status and the whole entire member of the House of Senate against his
intended prosecutors. Isn't this dramatic truly??
The
tragedy is that the whole world is looking at great level of mediocrity.
Nigeria, where the empty barrel makes the loudest of noises, where you
miraculously graduate proximately after your service year, where you display
your stupidity to the core putting on a graduation gown to plenary session,
where you are the judge in your own case.
The most tragedy part of the whole
story is that these inhumane beings are entrenching their hegemony on the poor
masses. I really do not think they have you and I on mind, If they do,
compelling someone to put on a uniform won’t be the theme in a plenary session
where loads of youths are still unemployed, people are starving of hunger, where
the whole country is in a total mess so to qualify.

The stance of an average
Nigerian who from inception has been doubting the worthwhileness of acing
academic pursuits has now been duly justified because he had seen someone who
we hold to the highest esteem despite falsifying results. Students have now
seen a Third class graduate (with no strong basis to justify his graduation
though because he was opportune to have served before graduation) in an ample
of wealth and riches.
The
Former CBN Governor had blown the greatest whistle one can ever blow by
exposing the fact that a significant portion of our budgetary allocations goes
to the earnings of the Upper and Lower Houses. There is no need of course to
gain-say the fact that Soludo meant well for us (Nigerians) and should be
wonderfully compensated for blowing such an alarming whistle, though, to show
how hypocritic and dramatic we are, he was suspended, no wonder I wasn't surprised hearing the latest suspension of another whistle blower; Ndume. Senate
is killing us, political office holders have turned bees and have kept us in
their hive to feed on, but truly “Diaris God” according to “her”. So Saraki
doesn’t deserve to be suspended amidst evils he has done and Melaye doesn't deserve sanctions for falsifying results?? Again Continuu; according to “HerRoyal Highness”.
Let me
rest my case here and keep watching our political drama, where exactly will
this end??? We are tired of laughing and crying at the same time, isn’t that
madness???
